[MPlayer-users] wrong aspect on stand-alone dvd player

I just tested some mencoder mpeg1 files on a stand-alone dvd player that
reads video files (V880). They are 4:3 videos, but the player is
stretching them to 16:9. I'm not sure how to determine if this is a
problem with the file or the player. Could the aspect ratio be incorrect
or missing in the mpeg file? It plays back ok with mplayer. Here's a
bit of the log.
