[MPlayer-users] compile mplayer on a PIII for a PII

Hello

I got a PIII with slackware9.1 and all developpement
stuff (gcc..)

I got a PII with a slackware9.1 "lite" (zipslack)

I want to know if I can compile mplayer on the PIII
for using on my PII

As read on the docs, everything is autodetect 
with ./configure
But I can't launch ./configure on my PII (no gcc, no
good libs, nothing)
I tried a lot of
./configure --disable-this --disable-that
--enable-this
but mplayer doesn't compile at all

Is there a solution to find good options and compile
it well?
