I've never heard KiSS before until I visited mplayer homepage today.

Yes, this is almost exactly what I am doing. I want only divx decoder and fbdev player .
(I am still not clear what difference is between fbdev and fbdev2, :-( )
Could you give me some information on how you squeezed it?
