Could someone recommend a command sequence to
go from a single still.png graphic file (generated using
Gimp in 720x480) to a 10 second raw.dv file that I
can then use with kino and intermix with other (true
video captured with dvgrab) raw.dv files?
The graphic image(s) will say something like "interview
paused, tape changed", etc.
I've spent a chunk of time now digging around on the
web and have found instructions on setting up menus
for DVD and to generate mpegX files, but not much
on the generation of raw.dv.
I'm also looking for a mechanism to embed a silent
audio track into the raw.dv file.
I've used:
encodedv -e 150 -v pause.ppm > raw.dv
(starting from ppm) but this leaves pops/crackles in
the raw.dv file.
Thanks
