Hi,
I'm running MPlayer-1.0pre6a compiled from source via "./configure ; make ;
make install". The following codecs all-20050216.tar.bz2 were installed
in /usr/local/lib/codecs prior to the build.
The problem is: when I enter "mplayer test.wmv" there is a 30 - 60 second
delay before the video begins to play.There is no appreciable cpu activity
nor is there any network activity. The following is mplayer's output:
MPlayer 1.0pre6-3.4.2 (C) 2000-2004 MPlayer Team
