OK, so "lines" is actually a synonym for "resolution", ie. "horizontal
lines" and "horizontal resolution" means the same thing, right?
The problem is that one might think that to mean either "number of
horizontal lines" or "horizontal number of lines" so it's really ambigious.

Or in other words, analog TV has already sampled the vertical space.

Thanks, will do next time when I want low bitrate. (Might it help also
with high bitrate?).
