[MPlayer-users] inverse telecine filter

I've been using mean's port of the ivtc filter in avidemux2 and have noticed 
some areas where it could use improvement, not that I know how to code them 
or why exactly they occur, but I can provide some sample clips of scenes that 
it has problems with. I want to make sure that mplayer has the same problems 
but I'm not sure how to move frame by frame during playback and I was 
wondering if there was a way I could do this to check?
