Yeah, it's a bad idea, I know... :)
If I remove the -ofps 23.976 from the mp3lame command line, the audio
doesn't get distorted at 72 seconds, but does still turn into a loud hum
at 82 seconds (like before).
If I remove -ofps from the -oac copy encode, the "jumpiness" is
alleviated -- go ahead and disregard that part of my report, it's
probably erroneous; however, the audio still has problems at 82 seconds,
this time just quitting completely.
If I insert detc=dr=1 after the softpulldown filter, the audio symptoms
are the same. ivtc=1, however, makes everything work properly.
