[MPlayer-users] BUG: mp3lib in latest cvs segfaults

I came across the same problem and did some research.

The file that causes the problem is mp3lib/decode_MMX.c; reverting 
http://mplayerhq.hu/pipermail/mplayer-cvslog/2003-October/017267.html 
removes the problem. However, this may be a gcc bug, since the problem 
also doesn't show if not compiling with the -fomit-frame-pointer flag.
(Which is why the --enable-debug configure flag will 'fix' it as well.)

I'm using redhat rawhide's gcc-3.3.1-6.
