Nah, I can't get it working, either.
Two desires I've always had:  Wildcards in web addresses and in RTSP 
addresses, such as mplayer rtsp://livestreams.omroep.nl/live/* or wget
www.downloads.com/*.tar.gz    <- Hehe.  Life would be fun then.
