[MPlayer-users] xmga shows green screen

get green window (as user) or pink window (as root) running

mplayer -vo xmga dvd://1  (have tried several commercial and 
non-commercial DVDs)

mplayer -vo x11 dvd://1 works
mplayer -vo mga file.avi works
mplayer -vo xmga file.avi shows green window

I'm using the CVS tree, and the detected video RAM is correct.  I've 
tried mga_ram_size=32 anyway, with no difference.
