I have this problem, but have not looked into it on my laptop (Compaq Armada
1700) (C&T 65555)
No, I don't know a workaround, except to use an alternate dirver atm.
My belief is that X 4.2+'s Xv is broken, and unfortuantely I don't have the
time/possibly skill to fix the problem, from my brief look at it while on a
trip.
Using Gentoo Linux, btw.
