[MPlayer-users] How can i stamp a subtitle in a movie file

Hi,

Does someone know how can i stamp a subtitle in a movie file using 
mencoder?
I´ve read a tutorial that says:
mencoder movie.avi -sub movie.srt -oac pcm -ovc lavc -lavcopts 
vcodec=mjpeg -o movie2.avi

This dont works. Please, i don´t want back to win32 to generate svcds with 
subtitles.
