Hello !
Thank you for Radeon 9000 support which appeared since MPlayer 0.90rc3 !
I use Radeon 9000 chip (RV250 IF) chip revision: A11 with 64MB.
My system: Mandrake 9.0, kernel 2.4.19, XFree 4.2.1, gcc 3.2, ldd and as
2.12.90.0.15 KDE 3.0.5a, depth of root window: 24 planes, ATI Linux
driver 2.5.1 320MB ram chipset KT133.
Unfortunatly there is a bug somwhere in radeon vidx code that displays many
little colourful squares instead of mpeg movie. This not happenes when
playing using Xv. In rc4 version nothing has changed. There is also small bug
in 'Found chip' line: Radeon 9000 has codename RV250 not R250. If you have
any beta vidix radeon driver I can test it. I have also basic knowledge of
C/C++ and none knowledge of graphics programming. If you describe me which
parts of code are responsible for squares and how I could try to fix it.
