[MPlayer-users] mencoder and avi limit (2Gb)

You want to segment the #?.avi output to several files, the opposite of
joining them...
perhaps using a combo of the follwing:
awk
sed
xxd
can mencoder check size of current destination #?.avi while compressing?
ggt
