But bugreports.html also says that you should not truncate or cut anything

I guess that you might be using -vo x11, which is damn slow. Try -vo xv or something.

You have enough power to scale in software and still get a/v desync ?

heh... that's about 2-3 times a frame duration.
You know that you can adjust a/v sync with some keys while playing ?

Try again to send 2 -v logs, this time completly from the beginning
until the end. Best as attachmend, so i can easily diff them.
