Hi there,
I've a Canon Digital Ixus v3 which is able to take videos up to 640x480
for 30 s. Mplayer 1.0pre3 and all previous versions (as far as I can
remember) play these videos too fast. My uploaded video is ~30 s, but it
is shown by mplayer in ~15 s. BUT: If a mp3 or ogg is played by xmms,
ogg123 or mpg123, mplayer plays the videos with normal speed.
I have uploaded a video under
http://me.in-berlin.de/~adastra/MVI_1877.AVI (24.8 MB)
I have skimmed through the mailing list archive but didn't find anything
related. I'm sorry if this peculiar behaviour is known.
http://me.in-berlin.de/~adastra/info.1 contains information according to
appendix B.
http://me.in-berlin.de/~adastra/mplayer.log contains the output of
"mplayer -v" (Video played ~15 s)
http://me.in-berlin.de/~adastra/mplayer_with_music.log contains the
output of "mplayer -v" while xmms played an ogg file. (Video played
30s).
Best regards,
Jan
