[MPlayer-users] -endpos off by several seconds

I've used mencoder to convert some vhs tapes. Since the endpos is not
known, I have to post-process the files to remove trailing junk.
However, the -endpos that I specify is sometimes off by several
seconds. Is there a way to fix this? -forceidx does not help.
