[MPlayer-users] mplayer -vo vesa doesn't work anymore

hi

for a while I have been using from
command line (I mean without X) 

   sudo mplayer -vo vesa...

to enable my tv-out (with a Radeon 9200)

i made a few updates on my system,
(kernel 2.4.20 -> 2.4.22,
 xfree4.3.0-r2 -> 4.3.0-r3,
 gtk+ and xine , but not mplayer)

and now it does not work anymore...
(Segmentation fault)
anyone already had such a problem ?

I use mplayer 1.0pre2-3.2.3 on Gentoo
