Hello!
With -ac mp3acm my movie begin and stop at first second (100% work with same lib in Windows from Fraunhoffer). When I jump to somewhere - the same situation (sound play with video maximum 1 second). When I compare 2 libraries: Windows l3codeca.acm and lib from w32codec0.60, size of windows version differ from your's at 1 kB. When I try to replace mplayer's lib by windows: THE SAME RESULT!!!! Why?
Why you not using original Fraubhoffer lib? Law? But Fraunhoffer faster!
And in WindowsMedaiPlayer I can easy use interesting flags: frequency (full, half, 1/4), 16 or 8 bit, downmix or ... (don't remember), and for "pentium" or "80386". In together this flags gives me a more fast movie.
Maybe problem in my system, but I not sure.
