[MPlayer-users] A/V sync

i know there was an earlier thread about a/v sync but i couldn't catch it to 
reply on it so i just post a new message...

i also have this a/v sync problem. it's not there if i play the movie in a 
small window. in fullscreen mode the video is much behind the audio (up to 10 
secs). if i enable the -framedop option there's no asynchronous display. but 
the movie flickers like hell (clear because of the dropped B-frames). if i 
play the same movie with aviplay it's smooth.

so my conclusion is that my AMD 900, 512 mb ram is too slow for mplayer. am i 
right or are there a shitload of options i don't know to tune mplayer?

btw: i also use the -nobps option.
