[MPlayer-users] [BUG] undefined reference to `EGifPutExtensionFirst'

Hi,

just got mplayer from cvs and encountered the following when mplayer is
linked together..

libvo/libvo.a(vo_gif89a.o): In function `config':
vo_gif89a.o(.text+0x24f): undefined reference to `EGifPutExtensionFirst'
vo_gif89a.o(.text+0x270): undefined reference to `EGifPutExtensionLast'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [mplayer] Error 1
