I know only two commercial software dvd players for win that can play DTS, 
namely WinDVD 3.x and PowerDVD Deluxe 4.x ...

however find out if the dvd has dts sound by looking at the dvd cover, it 
should mention it, maybe you have luck and the dvd has ac3 sound, too.
