[MPlayer-users] Really Fast, Skippy DVD Playback

Hey everyone,
Problem is I play a movie, and i get like a second here, a second there, 
at super-fast forward.  these are the errors I get in the background :

excuse the big chunk of error, but wondering if anyone has any idea 
what's goin on?

I'm using
mplayer -vo x11 -dvd 1
to play the movie with /dev/dvd linked to /dev/cdrom
