[MPlayer-users] NeoMagic driver

Hi,

Maybe a little offtopic, sorry. The documentation of mplayer mentioned that
Xv will work with a modified neomagic driver only. I downloaded it from
http://www.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/contrib/NeoMagic-driver/ but after I changed
old  neomagic_drv.o to the downloaded one my X does not start, just say:

(EE) module ABI minor version (5) is newer than server's version (3)

The downloaded prints that compiled for 2.50.88Zy. My original is compiled
for 4.0.3. I use Debian Woody which contains X 4.0.3.

Can I download a suitable driver? Or is it possible to compile only this
module applying the patch found on same site? (I do not want to compile the
complete X (On xfree86 site I could not find the 4.0.3 source))
