[MPlayer-users] GUI compilation Error

I have a problem with GUI compilation, and I'am not sure if it is only a lib problem, here what I did:

1 - When I try to compile with GUI (./configure --enable-gui) ,I got this error message:

Checking for streaming ... yes
Checking for GUI ... yes

Error: PNG support required for GUI compilation

Check configure.log if you do not understand why it failed.



But, when I check my lib, I got:
/usr/doc/libpng2
/usr/lib/libpng.so.2
/usr/lib/libpng.so.2.1.0.12



When I try compile without GUI (./configure), it seem OK, as I got:

Checking for DVB ... no
Checking for PNG support ... yes
Checking for VESA support ... yes



What is wrong ?
Is the lib I have is enough ?
Shall download the libpng 1.2.1, and compile it ?
