Hey.

Today I decided to try out the latest CVS (MPlayer CVS-020221-01:19-2.96) 
I am using an  utility called XVATTR (http://freshmeat.net/projects/xvattr/) to change the brightness of XV as I find the default setting to be very dark for my 
monitor/vidcard combo. It worked fine with MPlayer until I decided to 
try  the CVS version.

Apparently, as soon as MPlayer starts playing a DiVX movie (havent tried 
anything else), it changes the XV_BRIGHTNESS value from 65 (where I 
usually keep it at) to 0. This is very unfortunate, as I find myself 
forced to not use the CVS build because practically, it's so dark I can't 
see anything. The resetting of XV_BRIGHTNESS does not happen when using 
MPlayer 0.60, so for now I am reverting to that version.

Any ideas ?
