Hallo,

it's me again....

Now mplayer compiled with divx4linux and libmp3lame. Then I tryed to to 
convert a dvd to an DivX4-AVI. So I tried:

mencoder -dvd 2 -x 640 -y 480 -ovc divx4 -oac mp3lame -divx4opts br=1100 
-o movie.avi -pass 1

(It was copied from the DOCU extended by the -x and -y options....)

mencoder produced following output:

Reading /home2/fermat/.mplayer/codecs.conf: 26 audio & 70 video codecs
CPU vendor name: AuthenticAMD  max cpuid level: 1
CPU: Advanced Micro Devices Athlon TB Thunderbird (Type: 6, Stepping: 2)
extended cpuid-level: 6
CPUflags: Type: 6 MMX: 1 MMX2: 1 3DNow: 1 3DNow2: 1 SSE: 0 SSE2: 0
MPlayer was compiled without libmp3lame support!

But the configure-script told me:

Checking for Divx4linux decore ... yes
Checking for libmp3lame (for mencoder) ... yes
Checking for Divx4linux encore (for mencoder) ... yes

The configure.log tells:

So why doesn't the encoder know of the libmp3lame? (Oh, yes: I copied the 
new etc/codecs.conf to /usr/local/share/mplayer and ~/.mplayer/)
