but the ide drive works perfectly.


Only way to make it work back again is to reset the drive, but scsi
module doesn't allow soft-resets, or i don't know how.

or the hardware: pull the plug, put it back, drive was reset, pray linux
scsi bus doesn't crash, and if it hasn't, it's a go  (yeah, i don't
recommend this :) )
