I can see at least one usage.
With some WM such as fvwm, you can configure the WM behavior on a spceific
window. And the window is selected by it's title.
So with this new mplayer options, I could have different WM config for
different mplayer usage.
For example, one config for watching tv (small window sticky on all
desktops, with no title bar and no border), and another one for watching
DVDs.
Then I would just have to add the "-window-title mptv" option in the
shortcut I use to launch mplayer in "TV mode".
