I reviewed this one. Here are further comments:
1. Package GUI separately, just like I described in packaging
guidelines.
2. Don't include uuencoded tar.gz with default skin - find another
way to do it, maybe separate package?
3. Modify MPlayer's version string as described in packaging guidelines.
4. Don't use an init script to set /proc/sys/dev/rtc/max-user-freq,
modify /etc/sysctl.conf instead.
5. Package mencoder separately.
6. You shouldn't need to use so many --enable-* options. Just providing
the correct build dependencies should enable ./configure's
autodetection to work. The options that need --enable'ing are:
--enable-largefiles
--enable-dynamic-plugins
--enable-joystick
--enable-menu
--enable-mga
--enable-tdfxfb
--enable-xmga
--enable-xmms
--enable-xvmc
The following may need to be --enable'd to skip device autodetection:
--enable-directfb
--enable-fbdev
--enable-lirc
--enable-v4l
--enable-v4l2

R.
