This is one of the K-F releases, right?

The problem is known, and there is an almost 100% satisfactory
workaround (although it would be better if no workaround were needed).
See the 'Trouble with MP3 audio in MP4 containers' thread over on
mplayer-users. I've already explained the workaround there within the
past few days.

The reason the file will not play correctly even with disabled video is
because the problem is not with the video but with the audio, and
specifically with the fact that the audio is in an MP4 container.
