Don't worry, the translation team will take care of it once it's
committed to the main sourcetree.

For consistency reasons, you should write:

Next time, could you please send this patch as attachment? This makes
the life of the doc maintainers a bit easier (particularly with big
patches).

As far as the content of this patch is concerned, I can't confirm if
what you are saying is the expected behavior, but I'm sure someone will
soon speak-up.
