Probably. :)

Support for QDM2 audio was added to libavcodec fairly recently, and is
now preferred over the binary quicktime driver. Have you updated
libavcodec, libavformat, and libavutil?

qtaudio support is still available. You can use 'mplayer file.mov -afm
qtaudio' if you have it compiled in.
