Yip and the other names are rather generic in nature ie, Audio and Video

One thing you have to watch for though when coding for the Apple 
NSSound driver is that under OSX there are some extra patches for 
quicktime that the Darwin one doesn't have or need.  Most of them only 
relate to Carbon compatibility with the classic Sound Manager.
