It does many (most) things using raw Xlib calls. Originally it didnt
even used/needed gtk. This is why even teh right-click menu is implemented
in mplayer gui skin/widget code, but not used nowdays.
Later, when needs of dinamic menus (for right-click wiht dvd track list etc,
and preferences with listboxes...) appeared, .so changed to use gtk for
menus. but only for menus, the rest is still his own x11 widget code.
