I'm against this patch because of the parameter style.
I say instead of directx:wallpaper, do it the way that the "ontop"
feature is done.  I don't know if a "desktop" feature makes sense for
other vo's, though.  Can anyone who knows other vo's comment on that?

I have a patch for this feature in the "ontop" runtime-selectable style,
but it needs badly to be cleaned and updated.  It applied cleanly to
sources from the beginning of January...  :)
