[MPlayer-dev-eng] Problem with opening URL's

I've compiled and am running dev-CVS-040128-05:00-3.3.2 with good results.  

When I try to open a URL like this:
http://www.xbox.com/media/games/blinx/vid-blinx-0001-hi.asx
I get these errors:
Playing http://www.xbox.com/media/games/blinx/vid-blinx-0001-hi.asx.
Resolving www.xbox.com for AF_INET...
Connecting to server www.xbox.com[65.59.234.35]:80 ...

Option stream url: This URL doesn't have a hostname part.

Failed to open http://www.xbox.com/media/games/blinx/vid-blinx-0001-hi.asx

Yet when I open a URL like this (which I get from inside the .asx file):
mms://wm.microsoft.com/ms/xbox/video/Blinx/Blinx-0001-hi.wmv
the player works fine.

Yet, when I play the .asx file with mplayer 0.92, it works.

Is there a configuration option I'm missing to get .asx files to stream with the new version of mplayer?
