I never touched loader code except for the win32 port and this port
isn't using the emulated functions at all. It only uses the acm, dmo, dshow
and vfw emulation layers. I doubt that these few #ifdefs are a problem for
avifile.
Imho we should try to get the avifile, xine and mplayer versions of loader
in sync especially as there are only minor changes nowadays. Another
alternative would be to make a sepereate loader project like it was once
proposed by al3x.
