No, I understand that we can't produce DVDs for testing, but how about a
list of DVD types and features to test with? If there's a list of 6
different things that need to be tested on DVDs in general, and parts of
my collection satisfy 3 of these things, then I can say "This patch
works for this, this, and this. Please test on ... usw." That would be
useful, IMHO.

Quality assurance, I believe. I think it's a good idea, though not
strictly needed as in a business situation. It would make me feel much
better about committing to someone else's code if I knew how to fully
test it.
