[MPlayer-dev-eng] -ao pcm status ?

Hi,

I just tried to extract an audio track from an mpeg clip using my favorite
PPC macintosh.
The resulting file was interpreted as 1 minute 09 long, which was too
short (actually the clip is 4"25).
Tried the same with an x86, the file is correct length and plays ok in
xmms. 
I used the following parameters:
`mplayer -vo null -ao pcm -hardframedrop myclip.mpg`

Endianness problems ? If nobody knows but it seems possible to you, please
tell me where I could look in mplayer's source to try to fix it.
