¿really? ¿what about a filter that removes any executable? that's fast and quite
suitable for development lists, specially when the target of the program isn't an
OS where .exe, .bat, .scr, .pif, etc. have any meaning.

I agree, but you risk to get a lot of "OFF-TOPIC" traffic and mail bounces
