[MPlayer-dev-eng] Creating new cuts of movies

Hi,

This is just an idea (not a flame bait).

While down loading the Phantom Edit the following idea struck me:

Why not being able to recut movies by distributing only the cut
files. What I mean is a file that tells the player where to play in
the file at a given moment. Would be pretty cool to distribute your
own DVD-cuts as small files of just a few kilobytes instead of whole
movies. I think It would be pretty easy to implement. Even interactive
editing of the cut files would be easy to do if one doesn't create any
gui.
