What about also using mplayer.ethz.ch ? it would be simple to write
in php a load sharing mechanism (ie direct one d/l to www2 the next one to ethz).
Beside ethz.ch has a quite good connection (2Gbit/s, but i think the webserver
has only a 100mbit card :)
