Ehlo,
i am recently quite often changing my running kernel, and compiling it
on remote machine, so it started to be a burden to compile mga_vid ( I
kept forgetting about transferring linux headers home etc etc).
So, the solution for me was to transform mga_vid sources into kernel
patch, now I just patch -p1 < ~/mga_vid.patch. If anyone else would find
this appealing then maybe i'll include patch-form in cvs or maybe publish
it via some other means.
The other thing are
mga_vid: Saved colorkey (ON: 1 01:01:FE)
mga_vid: Video ON
mga_vid: mapping video memory into userspace
mga_vid: Video OFF (ioctl)
mga_vid: Video OFF (release)
mga_vid: Restoring colorkey (ON: 1 01:01:FE)
messages.
I don't like them. There's too many of them, most of the data they provide
can be acquired via cat /dev/mga_vid, and as be seen by recent posts I am
not the only one.
I'd like them ifdef'd MP_DEBUG, can I do that
or is there any vital data they provide?
