I just said - do not remove current, small, simple, working C code.
It does not conflict with the live.com libs, and even not eqvivalent,
so why has to remove it ? Then let's remove 2 of the current 3 DVD
support code too... they all are for playback DVD, but they are different.
Ah, and also remove 3 of teh current 4 divx decoders too. Why to have
native builtin codec, when we could use divx4linux library too?
One less to maintain, agree? No. See.

MPlayer gave alternatives from the beginning. It's users choice which
implementation to be used. Don't make decisions ourself, left it to
the user. Ok? If he just want to watch dvbstream'ed video in a small
settopbox using mplayer, don't force him to install huge c++ library
set... _but_ let him to do so if he wants.
