OK. But, according to cvs-howto.txt, the command is:

  cvs -z3 -d:ext:LOGIN at mplayerhq.hu:/cvsroot/mplayer co main

1 - Is there an "anonymous" login and password?
    If not, somebody wanna set up a read-only account for me?
2 - What is that ":ext:"? Or don't I care, just use it literally?

Finally, is there a period of time (UTC) and/or day when CVS activity is
rather light? I'm touching a lot (most?) files in Gui/, some in /libvo/,
and many in the distribution root. It'd be nice if my final 'cvs diff -u'
wasn't too far off from my initial 'cvs co'.
