Yes, for example subtitles from "The Score" (2001) are yellow, I've seen that 
in vobsub.
Btw. do you plan support for vobsub, too? (it's imho simply the spu stream 
dumped from dvd along with the ifo and idx and optionally rar compressed. 
alos it's sources are freely available so you could take a look at that if 
you want (I can send you the sources if you can't find yourself).)
