no, you can't. That would've been the shortest way to allow all GPL code
to be reused in proprietary projects (closed source). That's why some
projects are dual licensed. But off course you will be allowed to
relicence all that 'borrowed' code if you get permission from the
authors ;-)
That is also why LGPL was 'invented' - to allow other licence based
projects use LGPL _librarys_. But APAIK you DON'T use any LGPL
librarys...
There sometimes occurs situation when you have to compromise some pride.
Or drop the GPL code and restart from scratch. But I'm not telling
anything new tp you...
GPL is not perfect, but at least it is efficient (look at amount of GPL
licenced code...)
