No,
it's not functional yet, but please make additions for subpicture 
handling and send me a patch (please apply the attached patch first). 
The vo2_dxr3.c implementation is the most complete currently, but the 
core is unfinished so you won't be able to use any devices yet.
When you have finished making additions I will go through them and send 
up the next libvo2 suggestion to this list. If noone objects I'll move 
onto core development. We should have a working libvo2 at least before 
next year =D (probably sooner)

Note that the attached patch is experimental and SHALL NOT go into CVS 
as of now...
